We are very proud to announce that the creative Home & Lifestyle brand Kitsch Kitchen has been acquired by BacktoBasiX as of January 1, 2024! A company known for its stylish paper and office supplies and trendy office products from brands like Pimpelmees, Pepa Lani, and Relax Mama.The new owners, Evelijn and Lotte, are excited to add Kitsch Kitchen products to their collection. “We are pleased to continue this strong brand and expand our own collections with Home & Lifestyle products. This acquisition offers new opportunities for both brands. Additionally, we will of course continue with the Kitsch Kitchen store at Haarlemmerdijk 48 in Amsterdam.”

Almost 30 years ago, Ingelies started selling colorful products from Mexico at the Noordermarkt. She recognized the tablecloth with flowers, fruit, and cola bottles from her neighbor when she lived in Central America. It made her so happy that she wanted to take it with her and share it. From day one, her goal was to make households here happier, but also to connect cultures with each other..
In the past 30 years, Kitsch Kitchen has grown into what it is today: an international brand with colorful, functional products that have a distinctive style. Through wholesale and (online) stores, our collections are now sold worldwide..
